Nurse Next Door South Coast are searching for suitable Disability and Aged Care Support Workers who are able to fulfil regular and ongoing care visits with Nurse Next Door from 6 to 20 hours per week.
Multiple positions are available within the Nowra and Batemans Bay areas.
We have an immediate need for staff available for overnight shifts

Key Responsibilities :
Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised:
- Personal Care
- Manual Handling (including wheelchair transfers, variety of lifting machines including sling hoist, sit to stand lifter etc).
- Mealtime assistance
- Companionship
- Medication Administration
- Light Housekeeping
- Assisting clients to access the community
- Detect and report any concerns to your clinical manager.
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
Skills and Experience :
- Current experience in community care/ home care/ Support Work/AIN and working with clients with complex physical needs.
- Relevant qualifications to your position and be able to provide evidence of this.
- A reliable vehicle and current drivers licence, and are willing to travel to client homes in the region.
- Valuable communication skills and be courteous and responsive when we contact you.
- You will be flexible and available for a variety of short and long shifts in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights and weekends.
- You are a self led leader with the ability to take responsibility for your own behaviour & success, however you are also coachable to doing things the ‘Nurse Next Door’ way.
- You must be able speak and write in English, however other languages will also be an asset!
Mandatory Requirements
- NSW Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
- NDIS Workers Screener Clearance
- Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience
- Current working rights in Australia
You must be Passionate about Making a Difference! (Essential Criteria) Only Australian citizens or permanent residents are eligible, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
