Our client, Innisfail Hospital, is seeking experienced Midwives to join their maternity team in regional Queensland. This is a contract position running from October 2026 through to early 2027, offering 2.0 FTE across rotational shift work. It's an prospect to deliver quality midwifery care in a busy hospital setting, supporting mothers and families in the Core region.
- Rotational shift work providing flexibility and variety across the maternity unit
- Contract role from 16 October 2026 to early 2027, with 2.0 FTE available
- Based in Innisfail, Queensland, with access to ongoing clinical support and training
Preferred Requirements
- Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
- Proficiency with ieMR (integrated electronic Medical Record) systems
- Current NeoResus certification or willingness to complete training
- Current FSEP (Fetal Surveillance Education Program) certification or ability to obtain it
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Recent experience in a hospital maternity setting
- Additional qualifications in maternal and child health or related specialisation
