Job Description

Working within Perioperative Services at Epworth Freemasons, you can join our team on a full‐time, part‐time or casual basis as a Theatre Technician.
n
At Albert St. we offer versatile shift options such as later start times, half‐day shifts, and other arrangements to fit your needs.
n
You will be responsible for providing quality service with patient care, equipment handling and transport services while contributing to the overall performance of the operating suite.
Responsibilities n
n
Assist clinicians and team members with patient preparation.
n
Prepare and maintain operating suite equipment.
n
Provide safe patient transport within the operating suite and for interdepartmental transfers.
n
Qualifications & Experience n
n
Certificate III Theatre Technician qualification and above.
n
Minimum 12 months clinical experience as a theatre technician in an acute operating theatre.
n
Clear understanding and use of medical terminology.
n
Understanding of, and ability to set‐up medical devices.
n
n
You are a good communicator with a natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients. Skilled in your work, you have a strong attention to detail and are quick to learn and adapt.

Salary n
The annual salary range for Theatre Technicians – AUD $66,995 to $73,037 + super + entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for part‐time).
