This is not your typical production machining environment. You'll be involved in creating prototype components, specialised tooling and precision-engineered parts that contribute to innovative projects and product development.
n
Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll learn advanced machining techniques while developing the practical knowledge and trade skills needed to become a qualified Engineering Tradesperson.
n
Every day presents a new challenge, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working to high standards and continually improving their skills.
What You'll Be Doing n
n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
n
Operating CNC machines, lathes and milling machines
n
Manufacturing precision components and prototype parts
n
Using hand tools, precision measuring equipment and workshop machinery
n
Assisting with fitting, assembly and modification of mechanical components
n
Maintaining quality standards and attention to detail
n
Following safe work practices and workshop procedures
n
Contributing to a collaborative and professional team environment
n
About You n
We're looking for someone who takes responsibility for their work, communicates professionally and genuinely wants to learn a skilled trade.
n
You may be a recent school leaver, someone looking for a practical career pathway, or an individual seeking to start a trade where quality workmanship and continuous learning are highly valued.
To Be Successful, You Will n
n
Have completed Year 10 or higher
n
Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with full working rights
n
Demonstrate strong attention to detail
n
Have valuable problem-solving skills
n
Be reliable and punctual
n
Take pride in producing quality work
n
Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
Work well both independently and within a team
n
Hold a driver's licence (desirable but not essential)
