A leading Sheetmetal Manufacturer in the Dandenong South area is seeking the services of an experienced Turret Punching Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team.
Key responsibilities n
n
Set up and operate Amada CNC turret punching machines
n
Read and interpret engineering drawings/programs
n
Select and set appropriate tooling
n
Carry out quality checks and first-off inspections
n
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as required
n
Perform routine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area
n
Assist with other sheet metal fabrication tasks when required
n
About you n
n
Previous experience operating and setting up CNC turret punching machines
n
Ability to read technical and engineering drawings
n
Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
n
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
Good mechanical and problem-solving skills
n
A reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented approach
n
Highly regarded: Experience with Amada turret punching machines
n
Highly regarded: Forklift licence preferred but not essential
n
Highly regarded: Experience manufacturing electrical cabinets, panels or enclosures
