Overview n
Security Technician - Installer role at Borg. Crossmuller are seeking experienced Electricians to join our Electrical Contracting team, based in Somersby.
Responsibilities n
n
Work within the Electrical team on a range of disciplines including Commercial, Industrial, maintenance installations and servicing of electronic security equipment.
n
Install, service and commission electronic security systems with focus on high-quality workmanship.
n
Liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract works.
n
Work effectively as part of a team and independently; adapt to changing environments and schedules.
n
mentor/train apprentices to develop trade skills.
n
Interpret electrical and architectural drawings; install Structured Cabling Systems; basic computing troubleshooting.
n
Qualifications n
n
A current NSW Driving Licence
n
Current WHS white card
n
Ability to interpret electrical and architectural drawings
n
Knowledge of installing Structured Cabling Systems
n
Willingness to train apprentices with a positive attitude
n
Security Class 2 Licence (not essential but must be eligible to obtain)
n
Experience with CCTV Install & Commissioning is highly regarded
n
Experience with Security Alarm / Access Control Install & Commissioning is highly regarded
n

Low Voltage Release and Rescue

Exposure to Milestone CCTV systems or Integrity security systems

Electrical License

Relevant trade qualification
n
Knowledge of AS/NZS standards listed in the original description

Requirements & Other Details n

This is a full-time permanent position within our Electrical team. You must be self-motivated and able to complete jobs in a timely manner with attention to detail and high quality workmanship.
n
Pre-employment medical examination including functional, audiometric and drug/alcohol testing may be required.
n
Rate negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
n
