Looking for an Exercise Physiology role where you can genuinely practise across the full scope of your profession?
ALOR Group is currently recruiting Exercise Physiologists for opportunities in both Townsville and Cairns, with positions available for new graduates and experienced clinicians.
These roles offer the opportunity to work across a genuinely diverse caseload, including DVA, NDIS, Medicare, Home Care Packages, workers' compensation and private clients, while being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.
The Opportunity
You'll work with a broad range of clients across clinic, gym, home and community settings, developing individualised exercise programs and supporting people to achieve meaningful health and functional outcomes.
Your day-to-day may include:
Conducting comprehensive initial assessments, including functional testing and exercise capacity assessments
Developing and delivering individualised, evidence-based exercise programs
Supporting clients with chronic disease management, rehabilitation and functional capacity
Working across DVA, NDIS, Medicare, Home Care Packages, workers' compensation and private clients
Running individual and small group exercise sessions
Conducting home and community visits
Supporting clients to improve strength, mobility, independence and overall health
Monitoring progress and adapting programs based on clinical outcomes
Collaborating with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Dietitians, GPs and other healthcare professionals
Providing education around exercise, lifestyle modification, self-management and injury prevention
Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation

About You
We're open to both new graduate and experienced Exercise Physiologists.
You'll need:
ESSA accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP),
or eligibility for accreditation
A recognised tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Clinical Exercise Physiology
Professional indemnity and public liability insurance, or willingness to obtain
Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
National Police Check and relevant screening, or willingness to obtain
Robust clinical reasoning and communication skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
Genuine interest in developing your clinical skills and career
Experience across DVA, NDIS, Medicare, Home Care Packages, Workers' Compensation, chronic disease, aged care or group exercise is highly regarded but not essential.
