About The Opportunity n
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated
HVAC Technician
to join our Melbourne Service team.
n
This hands-on field-based role offers excellent variety, autonomy,
and exposure to a broad range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. You'll work across maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and installations while developing your technical expertise through ongoing training and support.
What You'll Be Doing n
n
Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance across commercial HVAC systems
n
Commission, install, service, troubleshoot, and overhaul mechanical equipment
n
Work on a wide range of equipment including chillers, package units, split systems, and central plant installations
n
Gain exposure to Johnson Controls' Building Management Systems (BMS)
n
Prepare quotations for small works and manage assigned service projects
n
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and plans
n
Complete small commercial installations and upgrades
n
Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring high safety standards
n
What You'll Bring n
n
Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or Electrical with HVAC experience
n
Experience servicing commercial air conditioning systems
n
Chiller experience highly regarded
n
Restricted Electrical Licence
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
A customer-focused approach and commitment to safety
n
