Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling to achieve a smooth, even finish
Applying paint, varnish, and other protective coatings using appropriate techniques and equipment
Operating and maintaining painting tools and equipment in safe working condition
Protecting surrounding areas and fixtures using drop sheets, masking tape, and other protective coverings
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on all job sites
Undertaking minor repairs and touch-ups as required
What we are looking for:
Trade qualification – Painter and Decorator
A minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified Painter in residential or commercial settings
Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one
A valid driver's licence and reliable access to transport
Robust knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and coating materials
Proficiency with painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and sanders
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering superior quality finishes
What's of Offer:
6:15am to 3:15pm – 76 hour working fortnight
Initially 20/10/2026 – 08/01/2027
