Base pay: A$111,****** – A$120,****** per year, plus 17% superannuation.

Responsibilities n
n
Administer platform operations and manage daily activities of the microscopy facility.
n
Provide expert training and technical support to researchers using advanced microscopy techniques.
n
Perform routine maintenance and ensure optimal performance of sophisticated microscopes.
n
Contribute to research projects by offering microscopy expertise and troubleshooting.
n
Collaborate with academic and skilled staff to enhance platform capabilities and team success.
n
Qualifications n
n
Hold a degree in biomedical sciences, physics, or a related field with relevant microscopy experience.
n
Hands‐on experience with optical microscopy techniques, including confocal and super‐resolution microscopy.
n
Strong problem‐solving and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective user training and support.
n
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
n
Background in microscopy or biomedical sciences and a passion for supporting cutting‐edge research.
