About Us
We are currently seeking an Individual with cabling experience to join our Electrical Team based in Somersby that is willing to proactively learn and grow with our Electronic Security Team.n
nWhilst working within the Electrical team you will be exposed to multiple disciplines throughout the electrical trade including but not limited to Commercial, Industrial, Maintenance installations and servicing of electronic security equipment.n
To be considered for this role you will be able to meet the following essential selection criteria:
A current NSW Driving Licencen
nCurrent WHS white cardn
nAbility to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract worksn
nProven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independentlyn
nAbility to adapt to a constant changing work environment and schedulingn




nTakes pride in their work and completing projects to the highest of standardsn
nWillingness to train apprentices with a positive attitude to ensure they become the best tradesmann
nKnowledge of installing Structured Cabling Systemsn
nBasic computing troubleshooting skillsn
nAble to interpret electrical and architectural drawingsn

Security Class 2 Licence (Not essential to have but must be eligible to obtain)
n
The following qualifications are not essential but will be highly regarded in the selection process:
Experience with CCTV Install & Commissioningn
nExperience with Security Alarm/ Access Control Install & Commissioningn
nElevated Work Platform Licencen
nConfined Spacen
nEmergency First Aid / CPRn
nWorking at Heightsn
nLow Voltage Release and Rescuen
nExposure to Milestone CCTV systemsn
nExposure to Integrity security systemsn
nTechnical Security Trainingn
nOpen Cablers Licensen
nElectrical Licensen
nRelevant trade qualificationn
nKnowledge of AS/NZS ****:****, AS/NZS ********:****, AS/NZS ****:****, AS/CA S009:****n
nThis is a full-time permanent position within our Electrical team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.n
nAs part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.n
