Quality Engineer (Mobile) — Manual + Automation n
Location: Melbourne (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
About the role n
Hands‐on QE covering both manual and automation for native iOS/Android apps. You'll begin by shoring up manual test coverage, then build/expand Appium automation and integrate it into CI/CD.
What you'll do n
n
Plan and execute manual functional, regression and release testing for mobile apps.
n
Build and maintain Appium test suites (Java or TypeScript).
n
Integrate tests into CI/CD (Azure
DevOps/GitLab/Jenkins)
; own reporting and quality gates.
n
API testing
(Postman/RestAssured)
and basic data validation (SQL).
n
Manage defects (Jira), environments, and test data; collaborate across squads.
n
Champion quality practices, documentation and readiness for release.
n
Must‐have n
n
4+ years in QA/QE with 2+ years in mobile app testing (iOS/Android).
n
Proven experience in both manual and automation testing.
n
CI/CD experience; solid Agile delivery and stakeholder communication.
n
Nice to have n
n
Salesforce mobile/responsive journeys, performance basics, security hygiene.
n
