What You'll Do n
n
Operate and maneuver semi tipper trailers, safely loading and unloading between customers sites. Experience with scrap steel is highly regarded.
n
Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
n
Ensure timely and productive pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
n
Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
n
Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
n
Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
n
What You Will Bring n
n
A valid HC Licence with 2 years Australian driving experience.
n
Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
n
Sound knowledge of the VIC metro & regional area
n




Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
n
Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
n
Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
n
A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
n
Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
