Sales Merchandiser – Pottery Barn Kids n
Our Pottery Barn Kids store in Chadstone is looking for a Sales Merchandiser (also known as a Visual Key Holder) to create a unique shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service in a fast‐paced, specialty retail environment. This is a permanent, part‐time position offering 40 hours per fortnight with a fixed two‐week rotating roster, including alternate weekends.
What You Will Be Doing n
n
Ensure the store upholds visual presentation, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back‐of‐house standards to create an inviting shopping environment while showcasing our furniture and homewares through strategic merchandising.
n
Create unique and engaging experiences for customers by sharing your expertise and helping them enhance their homes, delivering exceptional customer service.
n
Assist with opening and closing procedures, register operations, and back‐office tasks to provide operational support to the store management team, ensuring smooth store operations.
n
Use effective selling techniques and in‐depth product knowledge to drive sales and achieve KPIs.
n
Create a positive and inclusive environment within a dynamic and supportive team.
n
What You Will Bring To The Role n
n
1–2 years retail or visual merchandising experience (preferred).
n
Strong eye for detail, layout, and brand presentation.
n
Great communication and leadership skills.
n
Ability to prioritise, multitask and work hands‐on.
n
Flexible availability,



including after‐hours setups and peak trading periods.
n
Physical Requirements n
n
Ability to be mobile in the store and back‐of‐house areas, including standing for long periods.
n
Ability to climb ladders and use other equipment in line with safety standards.
n
Ability to lift and mobilise medium to large items, up to 30kg, while utilising appropriate equipment and safety techniques.

Requirements n
