We have a great prospect for an experienced Fitter Machinist to join a well-established mechanical workshop. This is a permanent workshop-based role offering consistent Monday to Friday hours and varied hands-on fitting, machining and repair work.

THE ROLE: n
n
Mechanical repairs, servicing and overhauls
n
Rebuild and repair mechanical components and assemblies
n




Manual lathe machining
n
Dynamic balancing of rotating components
n
Welding and general fabrication
n
Inspection and fault finding of mechanical components
n
Maintain high quality and safety standards
n
ABOUT YOU: n
n
Strong mechanical fitting and machining experience
n
Welding experience
n
Experience with rotating equipment or mechanical repairs highly regarded
n
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
Reliable with a strong commitment to safety
