Our client is an Australian-owned, boutique engineering consultancy providing end-to-end services across Structural and Civil Engineering services.

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join their vibrant Melbourne CBD team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive team environment, working closely with senior engineers on a wide range of structural projects.
Key responsibilities n
n
Work alongside experienced engineers, drafters and project coordinators to deliver accurate, well-coordinated design work on time
n
Design structural solutions for residential projects, including single dwellings, townhouses and low-rise developments, with mentoring from senior engineers
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders from concept through to completion
n
Produce clear, accurate calculations, drawings and documentation aligned with technical standards and project needs
n
Take part in design reviews, identifying potential issues early, proposing practical solutions and responding to technical queries
n
Grow your professional capability through ongoing training, mentoring and knowledge sharing across the team
n




Use feedback to sharpen your technical judgement and improve the quality and efficiency of your work

About you n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis
n
Post-graduate experience in structural design within an Australian consultancy
n
Experience working on multiple building projects in a multidisciplinary environment
n
n
Experience planning and implementing engineering projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering services
n
Proficiency in analysis and design software such as SpaceGass, RAPT, ETABS or Revit Structure
n
Robust working knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements
n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels and across all disciplines
n
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and negotiate desired outcomes
n
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to envision and deliver practical solutions
n
A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and a genuine commitment to quality and teamwork
