St Vincent's Private Melbourne is a facility of St Vincent's Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.n
nWe are looking for a dynamic Customer Service Officer with exceptional communication and administration skills to form part of our team in the St Vincent's Fitzroy Cardiovascular Centre. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability. This is a quick paced environment and we are looking for someone who can work under pressure and maintain excellent interpersonal skills with a strong patient focus. This is a front of house / patient facing role and ideally requires someone with hospital administrative experience, but not necessary.n
nYou will be responsible for the coordination of communication, patient services and clerical functions as directed by the Cardiovascular Nurse Unit Manager.n
nYour ability to deliver high quality customer service to all medical staff, nursing staff and patients is essential and your everyday duties will include:n
Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to);
n
n
Greeting patients and their families on arrival into hospital
n
Booking appointment's for SVPHM's inpatient and outpatients
n
Involved in invoicing and payments for outpatient services
n
Admission / Discharge of patients to the Cardiovascular Centre
n
The successful candidate will have;
n
n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
n




Proven attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks in a energetic environment
n
Previous experience in a customer service healthcare environment, desirable
n
Previous experience in patient record databases (IBA preferred)
n
