ABOUT THE ROLE n
This is a Permanent position working a Monday to Thursday roster, with 10‐hour days. This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.
n
As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour's drive of Collie.
n
As the Supervisor Maintenance you will be responsible for leading and supporting a maintenance execution team to deliver planned work safely, effectively and in line with operational standards.
n
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Coordinate daily work, allocate resources and adjust schedules as operational priorities change.
n
Verify critical controls, work standards and procedures are understood and consistently applied.
n
Maintain accurate SAP information, equipment history, work orders and resource capacity data.
n
Coach team members, encourage continuous improvement and collaborate across operational functions.
n
ABOUT YOU n
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
n
n
Supporting and guiding maintenance teams within an operational or heavy industry environment.
n
Building inclusive, respectful teams through regular coaching, feedback and development.
n
Communicating clearly and working collaboratively across different teams, levels and disciplines.
n
Planning work, managing competing priorities and responding calmly to changing requirements.
n
Applying sound judgement, solving problems and escalating operational concerns appropriately.
n
Using SAP and Microsoft Office applications to support work management, reporting and planning.
n
n
Qualifications for this position are:
n
n
Current WA Electrical Workers License
n
Statutory Supervisor Legislation Examination Certificate (Schedule 26 – WHS Regs ****)
n
Supervisory experience in a refinery maintenance setting.
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Formal leadership training and/or qualifications
n
n
