The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a large, site-based manufacturing operation. This role will play a key part in supporting operational performance through high-quality financial reporting, commercial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering. n
n Working closely with site leadership, operational teams and finance stakeholders, you will provide insights that drive decision-making, support financial governance and help deliver strong business outcomes. n
Key Responsibilities n
n
Prepare and deliver accurate weekly and monthly financial reporting.
n
Lead budgeting, forecasting and latest estimate processes.
n
Analyse manufacturing costs, overheads and operational performance.
n
Provide detailed variance analysis and actionable business insights.
n
Support month-end close activities, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
n
Partner with site leaders to improve financial and operational outcomes.
n
Assist with capital project analysis, business cases and performance tracking.
n
Support audit requirements, financial controls and governance processes.
n
Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
n
Manage and report on operational expenditure, including maintenance and site costs.
n
The Candidate n
n
CA or CPA qualification (or near completion).
n
Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, industrial or a similarly complex operational environment.
n
Robust management accounting, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
n
Sound financial accounting and reporting experience.
n
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
n
A collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across all levels of a business.
n
Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence operational stakeholders.
n
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of key finance processes.
n
