They're now looking for a Supervisor / Manager to help lead the next chapter of the business.
About the role n
This is a senior position for an accountant who enjoys both technical work and developing people. You'll manage a portfolio of clients while leading, mentoring and supporting a small team. You will:

Lead, coach and develop a team of accountants, and work closely with the firm's offshore team to keep work flowing and quality high
n
Allocate, review and sign off work prepared by the offshore team, giving clear feedback and helping lift their capability
n
Manage a portfolio of clients across trades, medical, agriculture, hospitality and retail, as their primary point of contact
n
Oversee BAS, IAS, FBT and payroll tax compliance, and the team's lodgement workflow
n
Manage WIP, budgets and billing across your portfolio and team
n




Provide proactive tax planning and advisory support, and handle complex queries escalated by the team
n
Work closely with the directors on client strategy and practice improvement

About you n
n
Extensive public practice experience, with previous experience supervising or leading staff
n
Degree qualified, and CPA/CA qualified
n
Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance
n
Excellent leadership, communication and client-service skills
n
Comfortable managing your own portfolio while reviewing and developing others' work
n
Experience with Xero, MYOB, FYI Docs and/or QuickBooks (advantageous, not essential)
n
Self-motivated and organised, so you work well in a remote setup
n
A proactive approach and a commitment to quality work
