About Our Client n
Our client is a well-established aged care organisation currently undertaking a significant payroll transformation project. Job Description n
Reporting into the Payroll Team Lead, the successful Payroll Officer will be responsible for:
n
n
Supporting a major payroll transformation and systems implementation project.
n
Performing high-volume payroll data entry and employee record maintenance.
n
Ensuring payroll data is accurate, complete, and updated within agreed timeframes.
n
Assisting with payroll system testing, validation, and implementation activities.
n
Supporting the rollout of new payroll metrics, reporting, and process improvements.
n
Investigating and resolving payroll data discrepancies.
n
Maintaining employee records across payroll, HRIS, and workforce management systems.
n
Assisting with reconciliations, data audits, and reporting requirements.
n
Liaising with Payroll, HR, and operational stakeholders to ensure data integrity.
n
Providing administrative support to the payroll team during a critical project period.
n
Contributing to process improvement initiatives and system optimisation activities.
n
Ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with payroll policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant n
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
n
n
Previous payroll administration or payroll officer experience.
n
Strong attention to detail and payroll data accuracy.
n
Experience working in high-volume environments.
n
Strong communication and organisational skills.
n
The ability to learn new systems quickly and work autonomously.
n
Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
n
Exposure to payroll projects, testing, or system implementations is highly regarded.
n
Experience with Preceda, UKG, or Humanforce is advantageous.
n
A proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach.
n
