Support Worker – Complex Mental Health (Northern Suburbs / Melbourne CBD) n
As a Support Worker with Recovery Alliance Care, you will:
n
Provide person-centred and trauma-informed support to clients experiencing complex mental health challenges.
n
Support clients with behaviours of concern and AOD-related challenges.
n
Assist clients to work towards their individual goals and increase independence.
n
Promote safety, dignity, choice and empowerment in every interaction.
n
Build positive and trusting relationships with clients.
n
Support community participation and engagement where appropriate.
n
Follow individual support plans, Behaviour Support Plans and organisational procedures.
n
Work collaboratively with Client Care Coordinators, Support Coordinators and other members of the client's support network.
n
Complete accurate progress notes and documentation.
n
Communicate effectively with the team regarding client wellbeing, changes in presentation and incidents.

About You n
We are looking for Support Workers who are:

Compassionate, patient and non-judgemental.
n
Confident working with complex mental health presentations.
n
Experienced in supporting behaviours of concern.
n
Familiar with trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approaches.
n
Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
n
Reliable and committed to providing consistent support.
n
Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team.
n
Strong communicators who can build genuine skilled relationships with clients.
