Job Description
As SIL Team Leader, you will be the key point of coordination for your house — managing staff, documentation, participant support, and household operations to ensure participants receive safe, consistent, and high-quality care. You'll work closely with families, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders to support positive outcomes for participants, while leading and supporting your team on the ground.
Key responsibilities n
Maintain accurate, up-to-date participant documentation and records
n
Liaise with families, Behaviour Support Practitioner, APO, allied health professionals, and stakeholders on participant progress
n
Oversee medication management, audits, and medical appointments
n
Manage household budgets, shopping, and supplies
n
Report and follow up on maintenance issues
n
Prepare staff rosters and manage leave
n
Lead staff meetings and supervise the team
About you n
Proven experience in a Team Leader or senior support role within SIL or disability services
n
Strong understanding of NDIS requirements and person-centred support practices
n
Good literacy skills for report writing or responding to queries from Behaviour Support Practitioners, APO and other stakeholders
n
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage rosters, budgets, and documentation
n
Confident communicator,



comfortable liaising with families, Behaviour Support Practitioner, APO, allied health professionals, and internal teams
n
Experience with medication management and audits
n
A current driver's licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
A genuine passion for empowering people with disability to live fulfilling, independent lives
n
Be able to delegate some tasks to a senior/experienced team member
