Caulfield RSL Sub-Branch Inc is seeking a
Gaming Attendant
to join our hospitality team in Elsternwick. This is a
casual position
that offers flexibility whilst contributing to the smooth operation of our gaming facilities. As a Gaming Attendant, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the highest standards of compliance and safety across our gaming operations. Your presence and professionalism are essential to creating a welcoming and responsible gaming environment for all our patrons.
Key responsibilities n
n
Monitor gaming machines and floor areas to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and RSL policies
n
Provide attentive customer service to gaming patrons, responding promptly to requests and enquiries
n
Assist patrons with gaming machine operation and explain house rules and procedures
n
Maintain accurate records of machine activity and report any technical issues or irregularities to management
n
Conduct regular checks of gaming machines to ensure they are functioning correctly
n
Enforce responsible gaming practices and identify signs of problem gambling
n
Perform cash handling and reconciliation duties as required
n
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the gaming area
n
Report any suspicious activity, breaches of policy or safety concerns to management immediately
n
Support other team members to ensure seamless operations during busy periods
n
What we're looking for n
n
Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
n
Knowledge of gaming machine operations and gaming compliance regulations
n
Excellent attention to detail and observational skills
n
Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to casual work schedules
n
Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain confidentiality
n
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
Current or willingness to obtain a gaming attendant licence or relevant gaming certification if required by Victorian regulations
n
Experience in hospitality, gaming, or security environments is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
n
