Jet Aviation is seeking motivated
Flight Line Technician
with either a
Certificate II or Certificate IV in Aeroskills
to join the team at RAAF Base Pearce. This role supports PC-21 aircraft operations for the Singapore Air Force and/or the Australian Defence Force. Depending on your qualification and experience, you may contribute to aircraft handling, flight-line servicing, operational-level maintenance and minor hangar maintenance activities. This is a Full time postion with Annual Salary* from AUD$76,550 - $93,377 plus Super plus OT plus Military Bonus plus Relocation Assistant (if required).

Please note that the annual salary is guided by the successful candidates qualifications and experience as stipulated by the business's Enterprise agreement.

Your Responsibilities
n
In this role, you will perform a broad range of flight-line servicing and operational-level maintenance activities in accordance with your qualification, authorisations and experience. Your responsibilities as a:
n
Certificate II
Flight Line Technician may include, but not be limited too:
n
n
Assisting with flight servicing and operational-level aircraft maintenance activities.
n
Supporting qualified technicians with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
n
Performing aircraft ground handling, towing and repositioning activities.
n
Assisting with aircraft refuelling, aircraft washing and flight-line preparation.
n
Participating in aircraft marshalling and flight-line activities as required.
n
Maintaining effective foreign object debris (FOD) and tool-control practices.
n
Ensuring tools, equipment and ground support equipment are maintained and serviceable.
n
Completing required documentation and work records accurately.
n
Following all safety, security, environmental and occupational health and safety requirements.
n
Undertaking training and other duties as directed by the Flight Line Coordinator or supervisor.
n
n
Certificate IV
Flight Line Technician may include but not be limited too:
n
n
Performing scheduled and unscheduled operational-level aircraft maintenance and flight servicing.
n
Supporting minor hangar maintenance activities where required.
n
Conducting aircraft ground handling, towing, refuelling, role changes and repositioning.
n
Participating in aircrew crewing activities, aircraft marshalling and flight-line planning.
n
Supporting aircraft washing and associated corrosion-control inspections.
n
Using current and applicable technical data to complete maintenance activities.
n
Assisting with defect analysis, fault investigations and the resolution of technical issues.
n
Completing maintenance documentation, work entries and certifications accurately and in accordance with applicable requirements.
n
Maintaining effective FOD and tool-control practices and ensuring equipment and ground support equipment remain serviceable.
n
Supporting the supervision, guidance and development of less-experienced team members where appropriate.
n
Working in accordance with CASA regulations and all applicable safety, security, environmental and occupational health and safety requirements.
n
Performing other duties as directed by the Flight Line Coordinator or supervisor.

Certificate II
Flight Line Technician
n
n
Hold a Certificate II in Aeroskills or higher qualification.
n
A genuine interest in building a career in aircraft maintenance and flight-line operations.
n
The ability and willingness to undertake additional training through an OEM-endorsed organisation, where applicable.
n
A strong commitment to safety, quality and following technical instructions.

The ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a team.

Previous experience with PC-9, PT6 or glass-cockpit aircraft would be advantageous,
but is not essential.

Certificate IV
Flight Line Technician
n
n
Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills.
n
Relevant experience in flight-line servicing and operational-level aircraft maintenance.
n
Knowledge of applicable CASA regulations, technical documentation, occupational health and safety and environmental requirements.
n
The ability to interpret and apply approved technical data accurately.
n
Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to complete maintenance documentation to a high standard.
n
Robust communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
n
The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider maintenance team.
n
A proactive approach to identifying defects, supporting investigations and maintaining protected work practices.
n
A commercial driver's licence or previous commercial driving experience, which is strongly preferred.
n
Previous experience with PC-9, PT6 or glass-cockpit aircraft would be advantageous.
n
The flexibility to work varying schedules and outdoors in changing weather conditions.
n
Eligibility to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the role.
