Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced
Part Time or Full Time Senior Chef
to join our team at Franco-Belge in Hawthorn East, VIC. You will play a key part in creating and delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our customers.
What you'll be doing n
Assisting with the daily operations of our established kitchen and be part of an experienced team of chefs
n
Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service
n
Implementing and maintaining efficient kitchen processes and procedures
n
Fostering a positive and collaborative work setting for the kitchen team
n
Providing mentorship and training to junior chefs to support their professional development
n
Collaborating with the management team to achieve business objectives
What we're looking for n
Substantial experience as a Senior Chef or Head Chef in a high-quality restaurant
n
Strong knowledge of French cuisine is necessary for the successful candidate
n
Ability to work well under pressure and lead a team effectively




n
Excellent organisational and time management skills
n
Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create exceptional dishes
n
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
n
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
n
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
