What you'll be doing n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Gathering and analysing functional and non-functional requirements
n
Designing end-to-end technical solutions
n
Creating UML and architecture diagrams
n
Designing event-driven, microservices-based architectures
n
Evaluating technology options against project and architectural requirements
n
Working closely with Software Engineering, Architecture and Quality Engineering teams
n
Supporting development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
n
Resolving technical and design questions as solutions move into production
n
What we're looking for n
We're particularly interested in Solution Designers with solid experience across:
n
n
UML and technical diagramming
n
Sparx Enterprise Architect, PlantUML, Lucidchart or similar
n
Event-driven architecture
n
AWS Cloud
n
Translating business requirements into detailed technical designs
n
Working collaboratively with software engineering teams
n
Nice to have n
n
AWS architecture certifications
n
Azure or broader multi-cloud experience
n
Existing Australian Government security clearance
n
About you n
Alongside your technical background, you'll be someone who communicates well, collaborates effectively and is comfortable operating autonomously.
n
We're looking for someone who can take ownership of their work, engage confidently with technical stakeholders and work effectively within a large, complex technology environment.
n
Australian citizenship is mandatory and candidates must be eligible to obtain the required Australian Government security clearance.
n
