Our Clifton Beach Centre has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our incredible team!
n
As an integral part of the Mayfield team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care.
n
Your main responsibilities will include:
n
n
Ensuring child safety & wellbeing using your active supervision skills.
n
Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
n
Providing personalised attention, addressing unique learning styles and needs of the children in our care.
n
Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
n
Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
n




Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
n
Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.

You
n
n
Working towards or hold a minimum of a Certificate III in ECEC (of ACECQA approved equivalent);
n
Valid WWCC/Blue Card
n
Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willing to obtain);
n
Working knowledge & understanding of Child Safe Standards
n
Working knowledge & understanding of NQF & EYLF.
n
Passion for the Early Childhood sector - you will enjoy communicating with and building trusted relationships with children, their families, your teammatesand the wider community.
