The role n
You'll work across a broad range of building and construction matters, including:

Domestic and commercial building disputes
n
Building defect and defective works claims
n
Construction contract disputes and advice
n
Insurance claims
n
VCAT proceedings
n
County Court and Supreme Court litigation
n
Advising builders, developers, owners corporations, homeowners and others in the industry
n
About you n
Admitted as an Australian lawyer
n
At least 2 years' post-admission experience in civil litigation, personal injury law or insurance law (building and construction experience preferred)
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
Comfortable dealing directly with clients
n
Proactive, practical and keen to grow
