Job Description
Workers Lifestyle Group is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our Facilities & Maintenance team, supporting the day-to-day electrical requirements of a busy Hospitality and Sporting Group.

This new hands-on role suited to a licensed electrician with commercial or property maintenance experience who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment.
About The Role n
n
Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, fault finding and troubleshooting across the venue.
n
Complete preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
n
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.
n
Maintain electrical and lighting systems, plant, equipment and building services.
n
Assist with electrical upgrades, projects and new installations.
n
Work with and coordinate external contractors and trades when required.
n
Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant legislation, standards and procedures.
n
Maintain accurate records, documentation and maintenance reports.
n
Respond to urgent electrical and maintenance issues when required.
n
Work closely with Operations and other departments to minimise disruption to members, guests and the team.
n
Support broader facilities and maintenance activities as required.

About You n
n
We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
n




Current NSW Electrical Licence and relevant electrical trade qualifications.
n
Current NSW drivers' licence
n
Highly desirable licenses and awareness competencies- EWP, confined space, working at heights, first aid & low voltage rescue.
n
Previous experience in commercial, property, facilities or hospitality maintenance.
n
Robust electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
n
Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance.
n
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
n
Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
n
Experience working with contractors and other trades is desirable.
n
Ability to work effectively in a busy operational environment.
n
Flexibility to work a Monday to Friday roster, including a half-day Friday, and attend to urgent maintenance requirements, including occasional weekend work and on-call duties as required.
