Maintenance Officer- Full Time- 76 hours per fortnight

Looking for a hands-on role where your skills truly matter? We're on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Maintenance Officer to join our team on a Full-Time basis (Monday to Friday - 8:30 AM to 4:36 PM) at our residential aged care facility in Young.

As our Maintenance Officer, you'll take ownership of the facility's upkeep, ensuring everything operates efficiently and safely. You'll be the go-to person for identifying issues, coordinating repairs, and keeping our environment at the highest standard.

What are your key responsibilities? n

Carrying out general maintenance and repairs (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building work)
n
Keeping our outdoor spaces looking their best with gardening and grounds maintenance — mowing, hedging, sweeping, hosing and general upkeep
n
Completing planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules
n
Responding to reactive maintenance requests across your designated areas
n
Monitoring maintenance works to ensure regulatory compliance
n
Actively contributing to Work Health & Safety practices
