The Opportunity n
This is a highly strategic Commercial Finance Manager position supporting a high profile property developer and property asset manager with an excellent reputation to continue their diverse property portfolio. The purpose of this role is to provide commercial & analytical support to all key areas of the business at the senior leadership level, including the General Managers and ELT. This is an ideal role for a candidate with property related commercial modelling & analytical experience to join a growing, profitable developer & asset manager.
The Challenge n
Reporting into the CFO and leading the commercial area of the business, your key responsibilities will include:

Ownership and development of the organizations existing corporate model
n
Commercial partnering the ELT and organizations key business unit leaders
n
Strategic analysis and commercial input with regards to property development, new deal feasibilities, operations, contractual arrangements,
business cases and value-add opportunities
n
Develop and oversee the implementation of financial strategies
n
Evaluate and manage project and business risks and opportunities with a view to optimising business outcomes
n
Assist in business forecasting, particularly capital management
n
Assist with periodic and ad-hoc management reporting
n
Assist in the preparation of investment proposals for the group
n
Ownership and continuous improvement of complex reporting tools, models, templates, processes, and controls.

The Expertise n
The successful candidate will likely be;
n
n
You will be ambitious, hands on and looking for the next step in your career

You will have likely started your career in a consulting firm in a Deals, Valuations, Transactions or Real Estate Advisory team
n
May have also begun their career in a graduate program at a large, reputable property developer. You may be the 2IC to the head of commercial and looking to take the next step in your career
n
Have proven experience in commercial analysis roles within the Property/Real Estate or adjacent sectors
n
Desire to gain experience in the full transaction process beyond just modelling. You will want to develop key relationships in the property industry and to build a career in this space
n
Articulate and confident, you can present complex information concisely
