Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised, detailed oriented Accounts and Payroll Officer to join our team. Located on the NSW Central Coast, the role is responsible for delivering accurate accounts payable/receivable and managing Payroll in the community services sector.

This is a casual role, approximately 10 hours per week. Flexible working hours between 9am – 5pm.
Key responsibilities n
n
Accounts payable and receivable processing
n
Interpret and apply NDIS Price Guide for billing
n
Interpret and apply the SCHADS Award provisions to payroll processing
n
Manage Support Worker payroll for circa 55 employees
n
Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation
n
Respond to payroll enquiries from employees
n
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
n
Undertake bank reconciliations, transactions, journals and adjustments
n
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports as needed
n
What we're looking for n
n
Minimum Cert III in Accounting Administration
n
Previous experience in a Payroll position, working with SCHADS Award
n
Thorough knowledge of NDIS Price Guide
n
Experience using employee scheduling software – (Supportmate highly regarded) to manage employee data, process payroll & billing
n
Experience using Xero
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
Strong problem solving, organisational and communication skills
n
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
