About the Role
n
nAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Scrum Master to support the delivery of a portfolio of digital and technology solutions focused on energy optimisation, forecasting, operational planning and business transformation initiatives.n
nWorking within a collaborative software delivery environment, you will help establish and embed effective Agile practices across multiple product teams. n
nYou will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, support backlog management, remove impediments, and enable teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that create measurable value for business stakeholders.n
nThis position plays a key role in promoting transparency, collaboration, continuous improvement and delivery excellence across a diverse technology portfolio.n

Key Responsibilities
n
nAgile Delivery & Facilitation n
n
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
n
Establish and maintain effective Agile delivery rhythms and team practices.
n
Support teams in achieving sprint goals and maintaining a sustainable delivery pace.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through regular feedback and retrospective outcomes.
n
Coaching & Agile Leadership n
n
Coach teams, Product Owners and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices and delivery accountability.
n
Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency and continuous learning.
n
Support Agile maturity across multiple teams and workstreams.
n
Backlog & Planning Support n
n
Partner with Product Owners to maintain well-defined and prioritised product backlogs.
n
Support backlog refinement activities, estimation practices and sprint planning processes.
n
Encourage clear acceptance criteria and a shared understanding of delivery expectations.
n
Delivery Governance & Reporting n
n
Identify, manage and remove delivery impediments.
n
Coordinate resolution of risks, issues and cross-team dependencies.
n
Maintain visibility of delivery progress through dashboards, metrics and reporting.
n
Facilitate release planning and support incremental delivery approaches.
n
Stakeholder Engagement n
n
Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to align priorities and delivery outcomes.
n
Promote effective communication across teams and leadership groups.
n
Provide transparency around progress, risks and improvement opportunities.
n
Experience Required
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scrum Master within technology or digital delivery environments.
n
Demonstrated experience facilitating Scrum events and Agile ceremonies.
n
Proven capability coaching cross-functional teams and Product Owners in Agile ways of working.
n
Experience establishing delivery cadences, sprint goals, backlog refinement processes and Definition of Done standards.
n
Strong track record identifying and removing impediments while managing risks, issues and dependencies.
n
Experience supporting multiple teams, products or programs simultaneously.
n
Ability to utilise delivery metrics to improve visibility, predictability and performance.
n
Experience supporting release planning and iterative software delivery.
n
Exposure to complex business and technology environments.
n
Experience within energy, resources, utilities, infrastructure or related industries will be highly regarded.

Knowledge & Technical Expertise
n
n
Solid understanding of Scrum, Agile methodologies and Lean principles.
n
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product delivery practices.
n
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence or similar Agile delivery tools.
n
Understanding of backlog management, estimation techniques and acceptance criteria development.
n
Familiarity with dependency, risk and issue management practices.
n
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, testing and release management processes.

Degree qualification in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline is desirable.
