The opportunity n
We are looking for two experienced Windows Administrators to join our Infrastructure Managed Services team.
n
You will support the day-to-day operation of Windows Server environments, with a focus on Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM and incident resolution. Working within an established technical team, you will help maintain secure, reliable and high-performing infrastructure services.
n
This role would suit a hands-on Windows Administrator who enjoys troubleshooting, working collaboratively and developing their skills within a complex enterprise environment.
What you'll do n
n
Perform day-to-day Windows Server administration, including provisioning, patching and monitoring.
n
Manage Active Directory user accounts, computer objects, groups and organisational units.
n
Create, update and troubleshoot Group Policy settings.
n
Administer Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) for patch compliance, software deployment and hardware and software inventory.
n
Resolve Level 2 Windows incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
n
Assist with server builds, upgrades and decommissioning activities.
n
Support DNS zone management and troubleshooting.
n
Document operational processes and maintain knowledge-base articles.
n
Participate in change management processes and scheduled maintenance activities.
n
Escalate complex technical issues to the Windows Subject Matter Expert or Wintel Lead when required.
n
What you'll bring n
n
Approximately five to seven years of Windows Server administration experience.
n
Proficiency across Windows Server **** R2 through to Windows Server ****.
n
Hands-on experience administering Active Directory and Group Policy.
n
Working knowledge of SCCM/MECM for patch management and software deployment.
n
DNS administration experience, including A records, PTR records and zone transfers.
n
Basic PowerShell scripting skills for operational and automation tasks.
n
Experience working within an ITIL service management environment.
n
Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
n
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Ballarat.
n
Bonus points if you have n
n
VMware vSphere experience or foundational knowledge.
n
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
n
Experience supporting a large-scale enterprise environment.
