Globe 24-7 is partnering with an established resources operation to appoint an experienced
Environmental Advisor
to join their site-based environmental team in the Northern Goldfields.
n
This is a hands‐on environmental role for someone who understands the realities of working within an operational mining environment and can provide practical advice while maintaining strong environmental and regulatory standards.
n
You'll work closely with operational, technical and leadership teams, supporting environmental systems, compliance activities and day-to-day environmental performance across a diverse mining operation. There's also the opportunity to contribute to rehabilitation initiatives, environmental improvement activities and broader site environmental performance while working as part of a passionate, progressive and safety-focused team.
The role n

Providing practical environmental advice and support to operational teams
n
Supporting the Environment Superintendent with environmental systems and initiatives
n
Ensuring compliance with company requirements, environmental legislation and regulatory obligations
n
Reviewing clearing permit applications and providing advice to stakeholders
n
Maintaining clearing records, compliance registers and statutory documentation
n
Monitoring, collecting, analysing and reporting environmental data
n
Conducting environmental inspections, audits and compliance reviews
n
Delivering environmental training, inductions and risk assessments
n
Supporting environmental incident investigations and rehabilitation initiatives
n
Providing environmental coaching and guidance to employees and contractors
n
Preparing accurate and timely environmental reports
n




Communicating environmental outcomes and requirements across relevant stakeholder groups
n
About you n
We're looking for an experienced environmental professional with a background in
mining, resources or a similar operational environment
. You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Previous experience as an Environmental Advisor or in a similar environmental role within the resources sector
n
A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline
n
Practical experience implementing and maintaining environmental management systems
n
Sound knowledge of environmental legislation, regulatory requirements and environmental best practice
n
Experience with environmental compliance, monitoring, reporting and record keeping
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
The ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence across operational teams
n
A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
FIFO or remote mining experience will be highly regarded
n
A valid C Class Driver's Licence
n
n
