Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Lead Montessori Guide to join our Infant Community (15 months–3 years) in a permanent full-time role (38 hours per week). This position requires
availability 7:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will be allocated 3 hours a week programming, which is flexible to suit your preference to complete before or after your shift, plus 30 minutes non-contact each morning 7:00-7:30am, to ensure your room environment is prepared for the children.

There will be 12 children (aged between 15 months and 3 years) in your classroom daily, with the children attending on set programs.
n
You will be supported by two (2) full time assistant educators and one (1) lunch/programming cover assistant.

Our Room Leader must:

n
be able to work full-time Monday to Friday
7:00am to 2:30pm
(maximum of 38 hours per week)
n
have 2 years or more of experience as a Room Leader in a Montessori environment;
n
hold (or is working towards) Montessori 0-3 qualification;
n
hold Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent approved by ACECQA);
n




have an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard;
n
hold a current Blue Card (or be eligible to obtain a Blue Card); and
n
hold current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates (or be able to obtain these certificates).

About Us n
We are a family-owned and operated Montessori Long Daycare Centre located in Burpengary, Queensland. Our purpose-built facility, established in August ****, is dedicated to nurturing children's development through the Montessori philosophy. We cater to children aged 6 months to school age across our Nido, Infant, and Children's House communities.

Our Centre fosters a supportive, team-oriented work environment and operates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and a two-week closure over Christmas/New Year.
