About the role n
MSS Security is seeking a Part‐Time Security Officer in Cairns. The successful candidate must hold a current NV1 Clearance and will work in a qualified and supportive environment. This position is part‐time with the possibility of transition to full‐time.
Duties and Responsibilities n
n
Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and radio communications to maintain site safety and security.
n
Manage visitor and contractor access, issue passes, and assist with site entry requirements.
n
Respond to customer enquiries and communicate with emergency services and other stakeholders when required.
n
Conduct foot patrols, record incidents, complete paperwork, and maintain accurate records using computer systems.
n
Required Skills and Experience n
n
Australian Citizen.
n
NV1 Certificate II or higher in Security Operations.
n
Current QLD Security licence.
n
Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
n
Availability to work a 24/7 roster without restrictions.
n
Master licence: ***** (if applicable).
