ABOUT THE ROLE n
We are seeking an experienced
Quality Test Engineer
with strong functional testing expertise in
accounting and finance applications
to support a critical engagement on the
Acurity
platform. This role suits a hands-on tester who thrives in Agile environments and enjoys working closely with developers and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes. Previous experience supporting testing initiatives for UniSuper or similar financial services environments will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Review business and technical requirements to provide clear, timely feedback
n
Design and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
n
Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate testing activities
n
Execute functional, regression, and system testing
n
Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
n
Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify system requirements
n
Monitor debugging and retesting outcomes
n
Continuously improve testing processes and approaches
n
Stay current with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
n
Skills & Experience Required n
n
Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
n
Proven experience testing accounting or finance-based applications
n
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
n
Ability to produce clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation
n
Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
n
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
n
