You're a great fit for this role if you:

Experience:
You have previously worked in the veterinary industry for a minimum of 2 years and have hands-on practical experience in all aspects of veterinary nursing.
n
Availability:
You are flexible and reliable, available for 5 shifts per week plus one Saturday shift every four weeks. You can work a mix of early (7:30am–2:45pm) and late (12:30pm–8:00pm) shifts, Monday to Friday at GAH, and various shifts between 8:00am-6:30pm at AVC.
n

THE ROLE
n
As a
Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician
, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our clinic operates smoothly and our clients feel supported every step of the way. Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Inducing,
intubating, prepping, and recovering surgeries.
n
Assisting in dental x-rays, grading, and scale and polishes.
n
Providing and monitoring anaesthesia.
n
Hospital patient TPRs, medicating, and caring for our patients.
n
Team consulting alongside our veterinarians.
n
Exposure to wildlife and exotics.
n
Providing comfort and support to clients and their pets during visits.
n
n
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
