The Data Center Technician S3 is responsible for maintaining server hardware, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring operational excellence across data center environments.
n
This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Perform hardware diagnostics and resolve component/system-level failures.
n
Assist with failure analysis and root cause investigations for field issues.
n
Monitor server fleet health, identify emerging trends, and ensure SLA compliance.
n
Administer diagnostic tools, perform firmware updates, and validate system integrity.
n
Provide real-time support during new deployments and resolve issues promptly.
n
Manage Windows Server OS and WinPE environments; Linux PXE experience is a plus.
n
Develop and maintain basic scripts for automation and troubleshooting.
n
Troubleshoot network issues across Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3.
n
Configure and manage virtual machines and related environments.
n
Collaborate effectively with local and remote teams while working independently.
n
Minimum Qualifications n
n
2+ years of experience as a Data Center Technician.
n
Associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (preferred).
n
Certifications: CompTIA A+ (preferred) or equivalent experience
n
CCNA (preferred) or equivalent experience
n
Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or Bash (preferred) or equivalent experience
n
Valid driver's license (preferred).
n
English communication, both written and verbal
n
Work Schedule: Standard 40 hours per week; flexibility for overtime or on-call support. Currently, no shift work is required, but this may change based on client requirements.
n
Location: In office at designated data center facility.
n
Travel: Minimal; occasional domestic travel to other data center locations may be required.
n
Reporting: Reports to Supervisor lead in the region.
n
Work Environment: Climate-controlled data centers

Physical Requirements n
n
Ability to lift up to 16 kg (35 lbs) safely.
n
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
n
Ability to climb ladders and wear PPE when required.
