Based from our Dandenong branch, we're looking for a motivated and customer-focused
Light Equipment Sales Representative
to drive sales growth across Melbourne's Eastern Metro region.
n
This is an exciting opportunity to work with Hitachi's industry-leading range of compact and light construction equipment. You'll inherit an established customer base while actively developing new business opportunities throughout your territory.
Your Responsibilities Will Include n
n
Managing and growing relationships with existing customers across Melbourne Metro East
n
Identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and customer visits
n
Conducting equipment demonstrations and providing tailored solutions to customers
n




Building long-term partnerships through exceptional service and support
n
Maintaining a strong sales pipeline and accurately updating opportunities within CRM systems
n
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
n
Achieving sales targets and contributing to the growth of the Victorian business
n
Representing the Hitachi brand at industry events, trade shows and customer functions
n
About You n
You are a driven sales skilled who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
You Will Ideally Have n
n
Sales experience within construction equipment, earthmoving, machinery, transport, agricultural equipment, industrial products or a related industry
n
Strong business development skills with the ability to generate and convert new opportunities
n
A customer-first mindset and passion for delivering exceptional service
n
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
n
The motivation and drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
n
Sound commercial acumen and confidence using CRM systems
n
The ability to work autonomously and manage your own territory
n




A current and valid driver's licence
n
n
Previous experience selling machinery, equipment or capital products will be highly regarded, however individuals with a strong sales background and a genuine interest in the industry are encouraged to apply.
