PROJECT STREAMS:
Project 1 – Bar Line 4 Autonomous Maintenance and Focused Improvement:
This project is an ideal introduction to managing a production line as a process engineer.
You will work alongside operational and technical teams to apply autonomous maintenance and continuous improvement methods, including cleaning, inspection and lubrication standards (CILs), centreline management, TAGs, 5S,

root cause analysis and the seven‐step problem‐solving process.
Using these tools, you will investigate real production challenges and help develop practical improvements in equipment reliability, waste reduction and energy efficiency, with every activity grounded in the site's safety and quality requirements.
Project 2 – Mixplant CIP Validation and Optimisation:
Working with the Engineering and Quality teams, you will support the validation of existing clean‐in‐place (CIP) streams within the mixplant and explore opportunities to improve future cleaning processes.
The assignment will involve reviewing process data, understanding food‐safety validation requirements and contributing to the design and implementation of solutions that maintain effective hygienic cleaning while reducing water use, energy consumption and product waste.
This project provides valuable experience in process design, validation, sustainability and stakeholder collaboration within a food‐manufacturing environment.
Project 3 – Digital SHE Reporting and Automation:
This project will focus on transforming important safety, health and environmental (SHE) reporting from paper‐based processes into streamlined digital systems.
You will assess current reporting practices and use existing site infrastructure to improve the way data is captured, organised and analysed, allowing teams to spend less time collecting information and more time interpreting it.
The longer‐term objective is to establish a foundation for AI‐enabled reporting that can generate meaningful insights, highlight trends and support solutions across safety, waste, energy and environmental performance.
