Certificate level qualification in Youth Services,Community Services or relevant field, and/or experience working with youngpeople
Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery ofyouth programs, activities or services that engaged young people aged*****
Experience handling confidential or sensitiveinformation with discretion and appropriate care.
Sound understanding of privacy and confidentialityrequirements when working with young people.
Demonstrated understanding of child safe practices,safeguarding responsibilities and mandatory reporting requirements
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills,with the ability to communicate effectively with young people, families,colleagues and stakeholders
Well-developed organisational skills, including theability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtainoneCurrent NSW Working with Children Check clearance
Current C Class Drivers licence
Demonstrated understanding of Local Government operationsand experience working within a council or similar community-focusedenvironment.
