About the Role:
Are you a passionate, cutting-edge Materials Design Technology(Wood & Metal) teacher ready to inspire the next generation oftrades and artists?
We are seeking an exceptional and engaging Secondary MDT teacher to cover a period of long service leave.




Bepart of a thriving school consistently recognised for excellentATAR results, a range of VET and Certificate courses, stunningstudent Materials Design Technology creations and a focus onguiding students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver MDT lessons to Secondary students,creating a stimulating and supportive classroomenvironment.
Prepare and implement effective assessments to track andreport on student progress.
Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of ourstudents, ensuring all learners and genders are supported,encouraged and challenged in the workshop.
Actively support the after-school workshop programs onoffer for Boarding and Day students and staff.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians andcolleagues regarding student progress.
Essential Requirements:
Current registration with the WA Teachers RegistrationBoard
Knowledge and experience of the WA MDT (Wood & Metal)Curriculum.
Ability to teach MDT at all Secondary year groups andlevels.
Willingness to contribute to wider school programs,including co-curricular, camps or other school-basedactivities.
Relevant qualification and experiences will be accepted.Applicants will also need a valid Working with Children card(or willingness to obtain one).
Salary
: Based on relevant qualification andyears of relevant experience.
