We are currently seeking qualified and unqualified, reliable and caring Support Workers to support our aged care clients in their homes across North Brisbane suburbs.
Employment:
Permanent Part-Time
Locations:
North Lakes, Kippa-Ring, Warner, Rothwell, Lawnton, Kallangur and surrounding northern Brisbane suburbs
Hours:
We are currently seeking candidates available for 15 to 20 hours per week
Availability:
You must be available minimum 3 week days.
Shifts:
Typically, 1–3 hours per client, with travel between multiple clients throughout the day
Renumeration:
Level 2 $*****ph (unqualified) & Level 3 $*****ph (qualified)+ Super + NFP Salary Packaging up to $18,550 + Paid travel time + Kilometers reimbursement + Paid training + EAP.
Shift Type:
60% or more of your shifts will involve Domestic Assistance, along with Social Support and Personal Care (qualified only), supporting Aged Care clients
Your responsibilities:




Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
Providing
personal care
and supporting clients with daily routines
Offering
social and recreational support
, from friendly conversations toaccompanyingclients on community outings
Transporting
clients safely toappointments or social activitiesusing your own vehicle
Running errands and providinggeneral supportto enhance clients' quality of life

About you:
Certificate III
or higher
in Individual Support
, Community Services or a related field, or have experience in support work, cleaning, hospitality or similar roles
A genuine
passion
for
supporting people
to live independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Caring, reliable and respectful, with the ability to
work independently
and as part of ateam
Confident
driving
and willing to travel to suburbs within the Brisbane North area
Confident in supporting clients living with dementia
