An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Public Practice Accountant to join a well-established and highly regarded accounting firm. Working with a diverse client portfolio, you will provide expert accounting, taxation, and business advisory services while building strong, long-term client relationships.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries
- Providing taxation advice and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Preparing BAS, IAS, and FBT returns
- Assisting clients with business structuring, tax planning, and advisory matters
- Liaising directly with clients, the ATO, and other external stakeholders
- Reviewing client financial performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to a positive team culture

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience within a public practice accounting environment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance
- CA or CPA qualification, or be working towards completion




- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for a broad client base
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar systems
