The opportunity to bring genuine continuity and consistency to someone's life*

Location: Wakerley Brisbane

Female Support Worker Required– High Intensity, Person-Centred Support

One participant. One dedicated team. A role you could make your own.

"Not just a shift — a permanent place in someone's life."

Are you an experienced, highly skilled support worker looking for more than another rotating roster?

We're looking for the right person to join a small, dedicated team providing high intensity, person-centred support to a young woman with complex disabilities — and to stay.

This is a service for one: consistent hours, a consistent team, and the chance to build a genuine, long-term relationship built on trust, skill, and respect. If you're after stability, purpose, and a role that truly values your expertise, this could be the one you've been waiting for.

About the Role

You'll provide high intensity, person-centred support to help our young lady achieve her goals, stay protected and well, and participate meaningfully in her community all while promoting her independence, dignity, and right to choice.

This is a genuine occupational requirement (female-only) role

Employment type: Permanent set weekly hours (additional shifts available)

Pay: In accordance with the SCHADS Award

Engagement: Employee position — not a sole trader / ABN arrangement

Team: Small, dedicated support team with opportunities to mentor and lead

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high intensity, person-centred support tailored to individual goals and preferences

Manage medication administration safely and accurately

Respond to and manage epilepsy and seizure activity, including emergency protocols

Implement positive behaviour support strategies and any restrictive practices in line with authorised plans

Support meaningful community participation and skill-building toward independence

Maintain accurate, high-quality documentation and communication with the broader care team

Where applicable, mentor and support other team members to maintain consistency of care

Essential Requirements

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Comprehensive car insurance and reliable vehicle

Demonstrated experience in:

Medication management

Epilepsy support and seizure management

Positive behaviour support (PBSP)

Restrictive practices

Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement)

Excellent documentation and communication

Highly Regarded / Desirable

Epilepsy-specific training

Midazolam administration training

De-escalation training (or equivalent behaviour management) training

Team leadership or house/service management experience

A medical, nursing, or allied health background

Why This Role Is Different

Permanent, predictable hours — with room to grow

A small, stable, dedicated team rather than a large rotating pool

The opportunity to bring genuine continuity and consistency to someone's life

Real scope to mentor and lead, if that's where your experience takes you

A role that can be exactly as long-term as you want it to be

This is a role for experienced, confident professionals only — please apply only if you meet the criteria above and are ready to bring that level of expertise.

How to Apply

Please email your resume to: *************@gmail.com

We're looking for the right person, not just any person — if that's you, we'd love to hear from you
