A prestigious Leadership opportunity is available for a Senior or Special Counsel Personal Injury lawyer to join a premiere specialist Compensation Law Firm to lead a Work Injury Practice.
It is a plaintiff firm and they take great pride in representing clients across Australia, advocating for their rights and ensuring their voices are heard throughout the legal process.
Currently, the team has 3 FTE Lawyers and the firm has a long-term plan to increase the team to 12-16 FTE staff over the course of the next 3-5 years. You will have the prospect to lead and grow this project.
What the role looks like:
- Build on a high-performing team of dedicated Work Injury professionals
- Oversee and lead matters right across a broad practice of Work Injury Damages, Occupiers' Liability and Workers' Compensation.
- Mentoring and supporting talented and motivated legal staff
- Generate and build on existing business, including handling new client enquiries and qualifying matters

Requirements:
- 8-10 years PAE + exisiting leadership experience.
- Proven experience in Work Injury claims (essential)
- Specialist Accreditation
- Experience and in-depth knowledge in work injury civil claims and NSW workers' compensation system (multi-jurisdictional experience will be highly regarded)
