Senior Project Manager - Client Onboarding & Change | Securities Services

12-month contract | Sydney | Financial Services

A leading global bank's Securities Services business in Australia is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex change initiatives, including the onboarding of a significant current client.

The Prospect

You'll own projects from inception to close: defining scope, building plans and budgets, managing risk, and keeping delivery on time and to quality. You'll work across product, operations and technology teams, and partner with senior leaders, sponsors and external stakeholders to secure commitment and resources. You'll also mentor junior team members locally and offshore, and help shape the delivery framework while staying mindful of risk and compliance obligations.

What we're looking for
10+ years of project management in financial services, including 8+ years in hands-on business transformation




Background in asset management, fund administration, superannuation or life insurance
Strong knowledge of back and middle office operating models, plus process, interface and data mapping
A track record of managing budgets and influencing sponsors
Exceptional stakeholder management up to C-level, in a matrix setting
Agile and Waterfall experience, with formal PM certification preferred

Highly regarded
Client transition or onboarding experience
Familiarity with Securities Services platforms such as HiPort and pControl
Exposure to asset owners, asset managers and super funds
